Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints. – Psalms 116:15
My Dad went home to be with Jesus! We were in the USA for a week in September to celebrate his life with our family and friends. We will miss Dad, but his life was easy to commemorate. And we will see him again forever. Our lives in Christ are wonderful.
I want to share a few neat things about Dad with you. Of course none of us are perfect, but he really was a great Dad. He was busy by choice, but he always took time for us. He was very available and talked with me a lot about life.
As a small child, I rode hours and hours with him on the tractor, hanging from his arm. How did he not get tired? As a teen and adult, we would take long walks and rides and thoroughly discuss all areas of life and even Bible doctrine. While on the mission field, we met every week, usually Friday mornings, and talked for up to 2 hours about all manner of things. Precious times!
Here is something interesting that I thanked him for over the years. Growing up, Dad never watched TV. He wasn’t particularly against it; he just always had better things to do. That simple thing changed my life. I grew up with a different sprit about me because of less influence of TV in my life. I will always be grateful to Dad for that.
How enduring is God’s loyal love;
the Eternal has inexhaustible compassion.
Here they are, every morning, new!
Your faithfulness, God, is as broad as the day.
– Lamentations 3:22-23 [TVB]
Testimony from Spain: Avoid sadness, stay in the church where God called you!
One of our church members recently decided to leave our church. She told us that she was not offended, nor did she disagree with us doctrinally, but she decided to make a change.
Some friends invited her to a different church, so she got her young daughter dressed and went. All the way to church the daughter was crying, and the mother started to cry too. When they arrived the daughter became more and more inconsolable. The workers and mother could do nothing to calm the child down. Finally, they left for home.
The child calmed down. Soon they passed by our church, and the mother asked her daughter if she wanted to go to our church. She said that she did. They arrived about 20 minutes late. We knew nothing of what had transpired. It was a nice Sunday morning, mother and daughter content. After service, she told us everything, and decided to stay in our church!
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. – I Corinthians 12:18

Mission trip to Eastern Europe
October 27 – November 15, 2025
We are off on our mission trip! As you know, we periodically travel to areas that have seen less full gospel ministry. This fall, the target is Southeastern Europe. We will visit former-Yugoslavian countries (North Macedonia and Croatia) which are in an area traditionally low in evangelical ministry. For instance, North Macedonia only has one evangelical Christian for every 500 people according to Operation World (fewer even than Saudi Arabia)!
The Lord dealt with us to get good books into the hands of the people in this region. He then provided contact information for several Pastors that are open to the things of God, but do not have much good material. We will be bringing in copies of Kenneth E. Hagin’s books, The Believer’s Authority and God’s Medicine to give them. What an exciting opportunity to make an eternal impact!
We will also be visiting Turkey, which is 98% Muslim. This is our first mission trip to a majority Muslim country. Believe with us for God’s direction and wisdom on how to safely make a lasting impact in this important regional power with a population of nearly 85 million people.
Please pray that the Lord will guide us to the right people and give us His supernatural words and power to meet the deepest need. His Word says: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” (Romans 8:14), and “[praying]… for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel” (Ephesians 6:19).
Trip Budget: $8,000.
We provide the PayPal button below if you would like to help us reach these wide-open harvest fields. Thank you so much, and may the Lord multiply your seed sown (2 Cor. 9:10).
Thank you again for your prayers and partnership. We believe that God is putting together all of our prayers, giving, and steps of obedience to provide good, stable, Word & Spirit ministry all over the world. The Gospel must be preached in all nations. This revival must come to full fruition. The harvest must be gathered in. The Lord must return! By His grace we will be faithful in our generation. Many blessings to you and yours!
