Ministry is about people. Who are the people we see as involved in our work?
Pray-ers
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.(2 Thessalonians 3:1-2)” A person of prayer can make the greatest eternal impact. Pray for laborers to be sent to the field according to God’s will (Matthew 9:36-38). Pray the Ephesian prayers (Ephesians 1:15-23, Ephesians 3:14-21) for us and all those involved in this work. You will have eternal reward for your labors in prayer. Contact us and let us know you are praying. It will be a great encouragement!

Financial supporters
Of course, missions work, like every work of God, needs financial backing. Some of the barely-touched places the Lord has led us to are among the most expensive in the world in which to live. We love investing our time and resources in such places! God’s work will be accomplished there! We’re looking for people who want to help us reach these places through faithful financial support.

American pastors
How can we reach the world without the indispensable involvement of American pastors? A pastor understands how to obey God and provide his or her community with a spiritual sanctuary. We desire to work together with pastors to do the same things where we are. We want the gospel light to shine brightly in these far-away lands. Pastors are welcome to travel with us. And if someone in their congregation is called to missions in the cities where we serve, they can work with them and us to help that person fulfill God’s call and reach the lost and dying!
Teams
We can’t do this work alone. We’re developing teams of people who will prepare themselves and then find their place in short- or long-term missions or as U.S.A. support staff.
When God puts something on our hearts, we must handle it with wisdom or we make one of two mistakes. We try to make it happen all at once. Or if we can’t, we just forget about it. To prepare for missions, we must find the balance between these two extremes. Psalm 1:2–3 gives us a key. We should ready ourselves little by little each day by obeying God. As we do, we’ll become truly fruitful.
We encourage those who want to join our work or any other work for God to do the following:
- Develop a strong relationship with God through His Word.
- Find and faithfully support a good local church. (That includes volunteering.)
- Learn to be led by the Holy Spirit.
- Cultivate a vital prayer life.
- Grow in Christian maturity and character.
- Practice sharing your faith.
- Prepare financially (both spiritually and naturally).
- Learn at least one foreign language. (Ask God which one.)
- Get a passport.
